This Privacy Policy explains what ListBuddy LLC collects, how we use and share information, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you. It applies to the ListBuddy web app at app.listbuddy.org, the ListBuddy browser extension, the API at api.listbuddy.org, and this site.

1. Who is responsible for your data

ListBuddy LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. Our business address is 18 Ramkay Drive, Fairfield, New Jersey 07004, United States. Contact us at support@listbuddy.org.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information

We collect your name, business name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, account settings, and login credentials. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes rather than in plaintext.

2.2 eBay account connection

When you connect an eBay seller account, eBay provides OAuth tokens that let ListBuddy perform the actions you authorize. We may collect and process your eBay user ID, account and store status, business policies, inventory locations, listings, orders, transaction details, buyer shipping information, messages, and marketplace performance data. Sensitive connection tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not receive your eBay password, and you can disconnect eBay from ListBuddy settings.

2.3 Source-retailer and extension data

When the ListBuddy browser extension is signed in to your ListBuddy account, it may read product, order, shipment, and tracking information from supported retailer pages you visit or from queued work. This may include product titles, ASINs or other identifiers, prices, availability, images, retailer order numbers, carrier information, tracking pages, shipment status, and delivery dates. The extension uses your existing browser session; ListBuddy does not receive or store your retailer password.

2.4 Listings, orders, and operational data

We process listing content, source-product information, prices, quantities, costs, marketplace fees, orders, buyer shipping details, fulfillment events, shipment tracking, messages, revenue, expenses, profit calculations, account activity, and feature usage. We use this information to provide listing, repricing, fulfillment, tracking, reporting, support, and managed-service functions.

2.5 Agreements, billing, and payment data

We collect signed agreements, plan selections, add-on orders, payment authorizations, guaranties when applicable, invoices, payment status, revenue-share statements, notices, and related records. Stripe or another payment provider processes bank-account and payment-card details. ListBuddy generally receives identifiers, status, account type, and limited details such as the last four digits rather than full card or bank-account numbers.

2.6 Communications and support

We collect communications you send to ListBuddy, support requests, troubleshooting information, notices, consent records, and marketplace or buyer messages processed through features you choose to use.

2.7 Cookies and logs

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, maintain settings, and protect the Service. Server and security logs may record IP address, device and browser information, request path, timestamps, errors, and authentication events for operation, debugging, fraud prevention, and security.

2.8 AI-generated content

When you use listing-generation features, we may send source-product content such as titles, descriptions, images, attributes, and categories to an AI provider, currently Google's Gemini API, to generate draft listing content. We do not intentionally send account passwords or full payment credentials to the AI provider.

3. How we use your data

• To create and secure your account and connect authorized third-party accounts.
• To generate, publish, update, price, monitor, fulfill, and manage listings and orders.
• To convert or update shipment tracking and provide related status information.
• To calculate and report sales, costs, fees, revenue share, and operational performance.
• To provide managed services, support, troubleshooting, and customer communications.
• To process payments, administer agreements, collect amounts owed, and maintain business records.
• To detect fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our agreements or third-party platform rules.
• To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. Who we share data with

We share information only as needed to operate ListBuddy, provide requested services, administer agreements, protect rights and safety, or comply with law. Recipients may include:

• Marketplaces and retailers, including eBay and supported source retailers, to perform actions you request and obtain product, order, and shipment information.
• Stripe and payment providers, to set up payment methods, process ACH or card payments, handle disputes, and prevent fraud.
• Tracking-service providers, to obtain, convert, validate, or update shipment tracking. We provide only the order, shipment, tracking-page, address, or status information needed for that function.
• Google Gemini and other AI providers, to generate listing content from the product information submitted to the feature.
• Keepa and product-data providers, to obtain pricing and availability information; queries may include product identifiers such as ASINs.
• Hetzner Cloud and Cloudflare, for hosting, content delivery, network security, and related infrastructure.
• Email, notification, support, document-signing, professional, and collection providers, when needed to communicate, execute agreements, provide support, keep records, or enforce payment obligations.
• Government authorities or other parties, when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect ListBuddy, customers, third parties, or the public.

We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Where data lives

ListBuddy operates from the United States and uses service providers that may process information in the United States or other countries. We use HTTPS for data in transit and administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect stored information.

6. Retention

We retain account and operational information for as long as needed to provide the Service and administer the customer relationship. Agreements, payment authorizations, guaranties, invoices, revenue-share records, notices, support records, compliance records, and records relevant to taxes, collections, disputes, or legal claims are generally retained for at least four years and may be kept longer when required by law, a signed agreement, an active dispute, or a legitimate business need. Security logs are generally kept for shorter periods unless needed to investigate an incident. When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information. We process information as needed to perform our agreements, operate and secure the Service, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate business interests. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

You can:

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct: update inaccurate account information.
• Delete: request deletion, subject to contractual, payment, security, record-retention, and legal obligations.
• Disconnect: revoke connected third-party accounts from Settings when that option is available.
• Object or restrict: exercise applicable rights granted by your local law.

Send a request to support@listbuddy.org. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Security

We use safeguards including HTTPS, password hashing, encryption for sensitive connection tokens, access controls, and service-account restrictions. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Report suspected security issues to support@listbuddy.org.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy as ListBuddy changes. We will post the revised version, update the "Last updated" date, and provide any additional notice required by law or a controlling customer agreement.
